Research Interests - Organic Synthesis

One of my research interests is in the discovery of new synthetic reactions or concepts and the application of these to the synthesis of new molecules. Specifically, we have examined the synthesis and reactivity of lipid peroxidation products. In addition we will be exploring the use of carbohydrates in the synthesis of molecules with known stereochemistry. A second research interest is in the use of NMR spectroscopy to solve structural or other problems.
