Financial Support

For more than 100 years, Missouri State has offered quality education at a great value.  In fact, Missouri State is among the most affordable institutions in the state, with required student fees just below the average of other Missouri public, graduate, degree granting institutions.  Missouri State continues to make its costs affordable and predictable for you.

Graduate Assistantships are available for qualified students.  Research assistantships supported by external grants and fellowships for outstanding students may also be available. In addition to a stipend, assistantships carry a waiver for all tuition and fees. A limited number of assistantships are also available for the summer term.

Students who receive a graduate assistantship must be enrolled in a minimum of 6 hours of graduate level course work (500-700) during a regular semester.  Summer school graduate assistants must enroll for a least 3 graduate hours.  Students on a graduate assistantship must maintain a minimum GPA to be eligible for reappointment.
