Why pursue a Master of Science in Secondary Education at Missouri State?

The Master of Science in Education-Secondary Education (MSEd) program, provides you with the opportunity to expand on your chemistry knowledge while improving your teaching practices. The chemistry education graduate program offers you a deeper understanding of the relationship between science and education in a controlled environment for exceptional learning, practice and research. You will also gain valuable classroom skills and training while working in the state-of-the-art lab classroom at the Greenwood Laboratory School.


Teaching chemistry and beyond

A degree in chemistry education provides the necessary skills and abilities for a variety of careers beyond secondary education settings. Upon receiving your degree in chemistry education, you may pursue a career teaching chemistry at the secondary or college level, work for the federal government or pursue a career in health care, public relations or in research.
