Admission Requirements

The chemistry department accepts and encourages all students interested in pursuing a bachelor’s degree in chemistry.

To begin course work in chemistry, you initially need to be admitted to Missouri State. Before completing 75 credit hours, you must also be admitted to a degree program.

Declaring a chemistry major or minor

The Office of the Registrar (located in Carrington Hall, Room 320) can aid you in changing (or declaring) a major or minor in Chemistry. For more information, contact the Office of the Registrar at 417-836-5520.
