Four-Year Degree Plans
A chemistry degree at Missouri State can be completed in four years or a total of eight semesters. However, a four-year degree plan does not take into account dual credit or transfer credit that you may bring upon admission to the university.
Comprehensive and non-comprehensive options
The chemistry major offers a comprehensive option, which does not require a minor, but allows you to emphasize in one of the following areas: biochemistry, industrial chemistry or take courses that will prepare you for graduate school. The non-comprehensive option is recommended to students who would prefer to add a minor or a second major to their degree.
